The Bon Accord Bowling Association was established in 1934 and currently has 15 affiliated lawn bowling clubs in Aberdeen city as members (full details can be viewed under the Affiliated Clubs menu). Over the years we have provided many top class bowlers some of whom have went on to achieve international honours.
We have both a gents and under 25 squads that compete against other areas in Scotland.
In the 2018 season, our senior team finished runners-up in the National Andrew Hamilton Trophy and our under 25s lost by 1 shot in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
We also run through the season fours and triples leagues as well as individual and team knockout competitions. Individual competitions are also organised for under 17 and under 25 age groups. And for the Seniors there is a Triples league run through the season.
For the 2019 season, we are delighted to be working with our ladies counterparts, the Aberdeen District Ladies Bowling Association (ADLBA). Details of their events, news, results, standings and district team can be found on their new website which we have created for them and this can be found at www.adlba.teamapp.com. Please visit this new site!!
You can find details of the League fixtures in the "Schedule" section with the latest League tables in the "Standings" section.
Details of our knockout competitions and County trial and match details can be found under "Events". Competition draws, including Bowls Scotland District 3 & 4 Scottish National Championship draws will be posted to the "Competition Draws" section when available.
