All eyes focused on Polmuir Bowling Club , Aberdeen for a must win game for both counties in their quest for a top 2 spot in the North Section and qualification for the quarter finals.

Another cracking weather day welcomed the teams and a large support and the green looked in great condition.

At the initial speeches, our own President tried his best to encourage Angus by publicly wishing for a Bon Accord victory! Nothing like putting pressure on his own team before a bowl is bowled! 😉🤣

Scott Murray rink scored a vital 5 in their match which was averaging about 2.5 shots per end!

End 19 in the Kevin Harper match proved to be decisive in the whole match. With Bon Accord lying 5, the Angus skip drew the shot with his last bowl, however Kevin with the last bowl of the end was able to take the bowl out and stay in the count himself to score a 6! The on green celebrations with his teammates will be long remembered!

This was to give the Bon Accord team the momentum and they managed to control the remaining ends to secure a vital victory by 119-112!
